December 2, 2022Victor helped me with a new statute of C.P.L. 160.59 which refers to sealing one's record. It was a four year journey that he stood side by side with me and keeping me informed. He is extremely available and always willing to engage with his clients. My sealing was originally denied by two judges, however Victor never wavered and instilled confidence that we would stand more than a decent chance in appellate court. His advice was not wrong. We attained victory in appelate court, which forced the courts to give me a reconsideration hearing. The prosecutor's office was still opposing my sealing of a 15 year old conviction, despite the fact that I did 10 years of military service, attained a 3.9 GPA graduating from a well known university, and being married for 14 years. Victor saw those factors and truly internalized this case because he firmly believed that if I didn't deserve a record sealing then who will. Those were his exact words. He truly viewed my case as a precedent being that this was a new statute in the state of New York. This process indicated that the prosecutors and judges were novices in terms of the application if this statute. Victor fought for the correct application of this statute and the for the people who truly deserve it. My reconsideration hearing was in the beginning of August 20222. After reviewing the minutes of the hearing and numerous consultations between Victor and the prosecution's office, they withdrew their opposition. The court then granted my application for sealing my record. They cited all the progress I have made since the initial conviction over 15 years ago. This would not have been made possible with Victor's determination and conviction to fight and instilling the confidence in me that this fight was not insurmountable.The sealing has removed any impediments on future employment opportunities and has allowed me to qualify for the Master's program at my university. I would implore any prospective client to hire Victor Knapp. He will internalize the fight needed to succeed and will remain available to keep you informed. I wish there were more stars on this rating to give him!

3/12/2022 Well, I do not have any words or how to best describe Mr. Knapp brilliance when it comes to his profession. He is a man of his word,if he says he will get a resolution on a case he gets it done..I had two cases with Mr Knapp and both cases was dismissed in a short period of time just as he described. This attorney has been the greatest when it came to defending me and working out a resolution with the prosecutor. I personally recommend him over any other criminal attorney, and I had a few of them that never gave me these type of results.

6/12/2016 My relative went to 2012/2013 New York for the New Year's celebration. He got drunk, got out of hand, got arrested, and in the midst of it, he decided he's not gonna go down without a fight and, well, he didn't. Next thing you know there are 6 cops on top of him.
He got charged with 19 different charges. Victor Knapp was able to make an amicable plea to both the department and the judge and got my relative off with a disorderly conduct charge.
A few months later I had some business in Queens. The arbitrator was a former Judge and when I asked for a referral to an attorney she recommended Victor Knapp. It blew my mind that it was same lawyer and had slipped my mind. I called him up, his office was right across the street from the courthouse and he handled my business maters with extreme sensitivity and, again, got me the results that two other lawyers said would be a tough to impossible position to negotiate for.
