People v. PETER S. (FAVORABLE PLEA DISPOSITION)
Charges: Burglary in the Third Degree (7 different dates and locations)
Court: Supreme Court Queens County
Disposition: The client with 4 prior felony convictions (for Burglary) and 7 new felony burglary charges (with DNA evidence and videotapes linking him to the crime scenes). Despite the demands by the prosecution for a persistent felony sentence (with a minimum of 15 years to life) and/or double digit jail sentence (more than 10 years), I was able to limit the sentence to total of 7 years (with credit for time served and good time) and two felony pleas.
